  21. This is the scoop on your video signal for broadcast. REALLY! When 1 inch
  22. video came out it was considered to be the bare minimum for output quality.
  23. The term was 1" type C. This output was measured on a scope and was the basis
  24. for a broadcast signal. The FCC still maintains that this is the minimum for
  25. output and can even pull your program if it does not meet this standard.
  26. (They never do) So if you really want to know what the level is, get a book
  27. on broadcast for the engineer, and compare your signal with the 1" C signal.
  28. So much Signal to noise, So many lines, etc. And there you have it!
